Tags are words/phrases up to 25 characters in length that can be attached and sent along with the chat. Here's what you need to know about tags:

  • A Team Manager can configure tags.
  • Tags can be "active" or "disabled". They cannot be deleted.
  • You can attach up to eight active tags to a chat. You cannot attach disabled tags to a chat.
  • If you disable tags that were previously attached to chats, you can still view them in chat history.

Adding a Tag

  1. Select the desired team [1] in the Customer Care Console.
  2. Click on Settings [2].
  3. Under “MANAGE”, select Tags [3].
  4. Type the specific phrase in the text box [4].
  5. Hit ADD TAG [5].

Disabling a Tag

  1. Select the desired team [1] in the Customer Care Console.
  2. Click on Settings [2].
  3. Under “MANAGE”, select Tags [3].
  4. Click on the Disable [4] cross next to the tag name in the Active section.
  5. Click on SAVE CHANGES [5].
